About Managers Development Program

As employees grow in careers and move up the managerial ladder in their organizations, the role of the manager dramatically changes from being a sole contributor of results, to getting the work done through contributions of others. At this stage, the skills requirement, time, and other resources allocation must be equitably managed. The Managers Development Program (MDP) is designed to empower the manager and other team leaders in supervisory roles, to successfully make this important shift and make the goals of the organization realisable. This program is designed to equip participants with interpersonal, conceptual, and diagnostic skills to motivate and manage other people, for greater organizational results.

The business environment keeps changing daily and the next generation of managers will face a more complex range of challenges. This complexity in the global environment has made the effective coordination of decision making and professional handling of organizational issues an imperative.

Effective people management is a crucial management skill. Over the years, it hasbeen erroneously assumed that being a manager comes naturally by having power derived from being the boss, controlling resources, people and having access toformation. This mind-set no longer suffice as managers must be able to think and rethink processes, do and undo systems. This is the bane of MDP.

Managers must lead their organization into a highly uncertain future (VUCA). They must be empowered with skills to lead and demonstrate the ability tomanage teams effectively to remain relevant and competitive.

The overarching objective of the GDP is to develop and deploy a cluster of important development programs for new graduates & supervisors.

planning a reality in your organization.

This 8 weeks plan/development path is developed for a targeted group of new managers and supervisors in the workplace, to accelerate their workplace understanding and enhance productivity.

Overall goal will be to build a structured and systematic training and development program that enable participants build on their academic achievements and gain the necessary experience & skills required for the world of work
